Winter’s coming. Maybe you’re thinking of getting in some pre-season avalanche awareness training? Henry’s Avalanche Talk UK Autumn Tour is now underway, and it’s proving to be a good one! Full events round-up below.

Henry is giving a series of highly entertaining, multi-media Ride Hard, Ride Safe! avalanche awareness talks in various Ellis Brigham stores around the country (in association with the Ski Club of Great Britain), as well as appearing alongside Ortovox at the Ski and Snowboard shows in Manchester and London (he’ll be doing some ‘mini talks’ there too – see the show websites for details). We have some fun and very useful beeper (transceiver) training sessions on Wimbledon Common, and we finish off with a HAT Academy weekend for those who wish to really develop their knowledge of avalanche safety.

Which talk is for you? The ‘Ride Hard, Ride Safe! Essentials’ talks are packed with all the essentials you need to know to have fun and be safe off piste. The two additional ‘In-depth’ versions of these talks (see list below) take your knowledge a step further and allow you to go more deeply into one of the topics touched upon in the ‘Essentials’ talk.
